Steepest Ascent exhibited at the Femtocells World Summit in London on June 23rd to June 25th 2009. The company were showing their latest wireless and mobile communication libraries and in particular the new 3G LTE release, available to run on both the Mathworks MATLAB and Synopsys SystemStudio platforms. The company were co-located next to Keithley Instruments, who Steepest Ascent have partnered with to provide wireless and mobile PHY layer indentities for their family of vector signal generators and analysers.
The other exhibitors and sponsors at the event included Qualcomm, Airvana, ipAcees, Alcatel-Lucent, LG, Nortel, PicoChip, Continuous Computing, Uniquisys, Intellinet, Percello, Rakon , Rhode and Schwarz, Keithley Instruments. The event ran with a companion conference and FemtoForum event which included speakers from Vodafone, CellCom, NEC, Texas Instruments and others. Shortly before the event, Vodafone also press released their intention to sell 3G femtocells for mobile customers, clearly showing that the age of the femtocell is now arriving at the consumer doorstep after its success in the various enterprise markets.
